In this fun ½ day workshop you will create a festive robin using the unique art form of needle felting. You will have the choice of creating a 2D robin or a Christmas tree bauble.

The workshop will begin by drawing out the shape of your robin onto a piece of felt. Using wool strands, you will then layer the wool to create your piece. There will be plenty of demonstrations and hands on assistance.

Your 2D piece can be presented in an 18 x 18 cm box frame so you leave with a finished piece of Art, ready to present in your home. The frame is £5 and payable to the tutor on the day.

I must warn you that this technique is addictive and once you start it’s hard to stop!

NB: Please be aware that the technique is fairly repetitive so may not be suitable for people with back/neck pain.

What to bring:

• A photo of a Robin (not essential)

• Any buttons you might want to include

• All other materials not specified for the students to bring

• Expert tuition

• 1 to 1 guidance

• Detailed demonstrations

• A selection of tea, freshly brewed coffee, and biscuits. If you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, please feel free to bring along your own provisions/milk alternatives etc.

Terms - Fee is payable on booking. If, having booked, you can no longer attend, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer you onto another workshop. However, you may nominate someone else to attend the workshop or class in your place by notifying us using the contact page on the Micklems Farm website. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to 48 hours prior to the workshop date. We will only cancel due to insufficient places sold and you will be refunded the full amount paid.
