Are you inspired by a favourite landscape and would like to capture it in oils on canvas? Then our winter landscape workshop this term might be just what you are looking for. Our tutor Shauna is a professional artist who is passionate about oil painting and likes nothing more than standing on the edge of a cliff capturing the movement of the sea or on the top of a hill looking down on an expanse of awe inspiring landscape. For this workshop you are encouraged to bring in a few images of a landscape that means something to you personally.

We will discuss and edit the images and I will support you in capturing a moment in time. We look forward to welcoming you.

What to bring:

• Canvas (approx 50cm x 60cm as a rough guide) either rectangular or square.

• A selection of oil paints (Windsor & Newton or Daler Rowney)

• Brushes (selection of oil paint brushes flat and round)

• Palette knives (a couple of pointed and round end knives - metal not plastic)

• Tear off palettes

• Baby wipes

• Kitchen roll

• Apron

• Newspaper (to take the work home)

• Packed Lunch

• If you are bringing brush cleaner it should be low odour

Included on the day:

• Any other materials not specified for the students to bring

• Expert tuition

• 1 to 1 guidance

• Detailed demonstrations

• A selection of tea, freshly brewed coffee, biscuits and delicious cakes

Terms - Fee is payable on booking. If, having booked, you can no longer attend, we are unable to offer a refund. However, you may nominate someone else to attend the workshop or class in your place by notifying us using the contact page on the Micklems Farm website. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to 48 hours prior to the workshop date. We will only cancel due to insufficient places sold and you will be refunded the full amount paid.
