LAST FEW REMAINING

A fun day playing with a variety of low-tech printing and transfer methods to create simple book forms exploring the theme of leaves, plants & seedheads. We will be using tape for simple transfers, creating line monoprints, and printing with found objects and gel plates to create a lovely little botanical book… a perfect reference piece of techniques or an artists book in its own right.
Lots of demos and individual help – no experience needed.
What to bring:
Drawing pencil, scissors and/or craft knife
Matt medium (the gel sort) or PVA glue
Acrylic paints & mixing palette (an old plate is fine)
Brushes (whatever you have)
Leaves with well defined shapes / veins (ferns are great)
Reference of seedheads / flowers / plants for inspiration
Paper – lightweight plain paper for printing (the tutor will bring plain white paper and tissue for everyone to use) plus any assorted papers for collage that you might like to use e.g text, patterned paper, tissue paper (you only need small amounts
