We are pleased to bring back our popular drawing and painting courses for intermediates, led by our talented tutor Caroline Crawford.

All materials are supplied and fresh coffee, tea, and biscuits are provided.

This ten week course is from Tuesday 14th May until Tuesday 16th July. Each class will run for three hours from 14:00 - 17:00 and each will be an inspiring session with expert tuition, aimed at those that have experience and are wishing to take their drawing and painting skills to the next level. The course is full of hints and tips to bring out your inner artist, with lots of demonstrations and one to one tuition by your tutor in a beautiful studio setting. Through each project you will learn stage by stage how to build your painting and drawing skills, as the course is varied in subjects. You will work though a wide assortment of art materials, including watercolour, pencil drawing, pastels, acrylics, mixed media, and more. The class size is small, so that you benefit from all we have to offer.

Caroline is one of our regular tutors, she delivers a variety of drawing and painting projects with enthusiasm and a friendly approach. She says ‘Creating art is a way of finding yourself, whilst losing yourself at the same time’.

Please note that each term features different seasonal projects. There are no repeats from previous terms.

Intermediates (Experienced level 3)

Students are now confident to work with a variety of art materials working on a varied assortment of set projects. They are able to work fairly independently with their own input, research and referencing.  They are comfortable taking risks and experimenting, as they understand in more detail material uses and other possibilities used to find outcomes. This learning is elevated where there are more discussion between tutor and student and deeper art knowledge. These students wish to develop and extend their creative skills.

Terms - Fee is payable on booking. If, having booked, you can no longer attend any of the workshops, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer you to another workshop.
