FOREST LIGHT: A WOODLAND PATH IN WATERCOLOUR
FOREST LIGHT: A WOODLAND PATH IN WATERCOLOUR
Tuesday 11th August
Tutor: Liz Baldin
10:00 - 16:00
Level: Intermediate
In this workshop, we will explore the process of painting a sunlit forest in watercolour, focusing on techniques that capture the glow of sunlight as it filters through layers of leaves, creating dappled light and soft shadows, as well as how to build the rich, earthy textures and tones of the forest floor. Through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, we’ll cover essential skills such as colour mixing, blending and expressive brushwork. This workshop offers valuable insights and practical techniques to help you create a vibrant, atmospheric woodland landscape with confidence.
