In this fun workshop, you will create 3D pumpkins using the unique art form of needle felting. The session is a fantastic opportunity to unwind, explore, and transform a simple pile of wool into vibrant, three-dimensional pumpkins.

We will start the workshop by exploring colour through some small water colour samples and practising layering and blending the wool. Felting is known as ‘painting with wool’, so these exercises allow you to loosen up and explore the colours and wool fibres. The amount of pumpkins you make depends on the size you choose, how much detail you add and how fast you work. You could make several small and medium sized ones (for example approx 6-8 pumpkins of varying sizes), or 2 larger, more detailed ones, for example, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. This creative process is both therapeutic and inspiring, allowing you to engage in a tactile journey that celebrates the spirit of autumn.

Terms - Fee is payable on booking. If, having booked, you can no longer attend, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer you onto another workshop. However, you may nominate someone else to attend the workshop or class in your place by notifying us using the contact page on the Micklems Farm website. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to 48 hours prior to the workshop date. We will only cancel due to insufficient places sold and you will be refunded the full amount paid.
