CERAMICS: 3D WILDLIFE PLANTER
CERAMICS: 3D WILDLIFE PLANTER
Thursday 5th February
Tutor: Chloe Phillips
10:00 - 16:00
Level: Beginner and up
Join Chloe for a creative ceramic workshop where you’ll design and hand-build your own wildlife-themed plant pot — inspired by nature. Perfect for all skill levels, your pot will be shaped and built in sections before adding raised decorative details that will bring your design to life. You’ll be guided through traditional hand-building techniques and surface decoration methods to create a unique, textured piece. There will be a selection of wildlife designs and templates to use on the day. If you wish to add a particular animal please bring a printed image to use for reference. Once your plant pot is complete, you will be able to use a selection of coloured glazes to enhance the details and natural forms.
After your session, Chloe will dry, glaze, and fire your creation — a process that takes around 4-5 weeks. Once finished, your handmade plant pot will be returned to Micklems for you to collect and display at home.
