BUILDINGS IN PERSPECTIVE: LINE AND WATERCOLOUR

BUILDINGS IN PERSPECTIVE: LINE AND WATERCOLOUR
Friday 23rd January
Tutor: Janina Maher
10:00 - 16:00
Level: Beginners
In this new workshop we will start with some simple exercises looking at perspective, and how to get the correct angles to make a drawing of a building look realistic. We will then map out a drawing of a building from an angle and will start the painting using pen and watercolour.
Janina will lead you gently through all the steps involved and there will be lots of encouragement and time to ask questions. There will be a quick review of watercolour painting materials and Janina will show some specific watercolour techniques including wet on wet, wet on dry and use of masking fluid to preserve the whites of the paper.
All reference photos will be supplied by Janina on the day
