Carolyn Beale

I paint in a variety of styles and media, though watercolour is my first love. For the last few years I have been experimenting with printmaking. I enjoy the techniques of linocut, woodcut and collagraphs and love the excitement of the uncertainty of outcome. Every print is unique, as is every painting. I paint in watercolour, acrylics and mixed media, inspired by nature. I obtained a BSc in Geography from Exeter University and a PGCE from the Institute of Education, University of London. I have taught at primary and secondary levels and also at painting and printmaking workshops for adults.
