I originally trained as a graphic designer and worked for many years as an illustator & designer in an advertising agency in central London. After returning to study at Central St Martins, my passion for portraiture took on a new life and I am now working as a professional portrait artist to commission. One of my portraits has just been included in the book Portraits for NHS heroes. I feel honoured to be one of only 300 artists to be included in this beautiful book, out of thousands of portraits that were painted for the initiative. Every penny raised by the sale of this book goes to NHS charities. I am also an experienced teacher and have taught portraiture, still life and drawing at a variety of local art schools. I like to work in a friendly, relaxed and encouraging environment. My workshops are well planned with lots of reference supplied and always allow for individual style to flourish.
