Nicola Kantorowicz
With over twenty five years’ experience designing and making stained glass, I have developed a distinctive style, blending traditional techniques with contemporary design. My original training in textile design at Winchester School of Art is evident in my love of colour, pattern and texture. Much of my work is inspired by pattern in the natural landscape. I combine traditional glass painting with acid etching and sandblasting to create richly decorative pieces. After some time in industry and then studying stained glass at the Central School London I established my own studio in Oxfordshire from where I continue to combine working on commissioned projects with producing pieces for exhibitions and teaching.
