MICHAELA FISHWICK

Micklems Farm has been a source of great artistic inspiration to me for years and now I’m very happy to be part of their team of floral designers, tutors and flower farmers. 

I’m originally a contemporary jewellery designer/maker mostly self taught after art college and branched out into floristry about four years ago, a passion sparked by fantastic floristry lessons and the amazing blooms grown at Micklems Farm.  Alongside a lifelong obsession for anything that involves art and design, I love helping to create floral arrangements to fulfil a brief, anything from gift bouquets to weddings and special events. 

My own style leans towards loose and free natural textures and forms, I get inspiration from spending time on the river Thames and visits to the seaside, hopefully some of this translates into my work.
