We look at second world war artist artist John Piper and his paintings of derelict and damaged buildings. Students create an atmospheric mixed media piece, referencing photographic images, and Piper’s paintings. They learn how to build their study, and experiment with wax resist, layering of ink washes & ink crystals. Finished with coloured chalk pastels. This day course is full of techniques and carefully guided tuition.

Terms - Fee is payable on booking. You may transfer your place on a workshop to another person at any time.
