Wednesday 18 September
10.00 - 4.00
Tutor: Carolyn Beale
We begin by demonstrating the basics of lino printing, including mark making, planning a design, cutting the lino, mixing inks and printing, both on a press and also burnishing techniques which you can then use at home. We use soft cut lino which allows you to create expressive designs while being easy to cut. This workshop is for beginners or those with some knowledge who would like to improve their techniques. Those with more experience will be able to cut a more complex design, while beginners will work on something simpler.
Includes - Lino, ink, paper and all equipment. Tea, coffee and biscuits.
Terms - Fee is payable on booking. You may transfer your place on a workshop to another person at any time.
