Taking textiles as our theme we will explore ways of using textiles with the gelli plate to make a series of unique monoprints. The Gelli plate (or Gel Press plate) is a gel based mono-printing surface and is perfect for making a series of one off prints. This workshop is suitable for beginners and those who have already done some gelli printing.

We will start by using textiles such as netting, lace and threads to make monoprints onto paper. In the second part of the workshop we will explore ways of printing onto fabric using a variety of mark making techniques and using both acrylic paints and fabric printing inks.
