Make a small landscape in a day inspired by beechwoods and bluebells. Images will be provided.

We will collage together a fabric background, add tree trunks, then use a confetti technique, cutting tiny pieces with rotary cutters, and sprinkling these onto ‘mistyfuse’ before ironing and stitching.

The composition can then be finished with hand or machine sewing as preferred. We will make a design approximately 45cm long by 30cm high max.

Includes - Some materials and fabric samples. Tea, coffee and biscuits.

Please bring with you - A mixture of fabrics to suit your composition : ideal cotton fabrics would be textured, mottled, batiks, or randomly dyed, or small patterns. Colours : Light blue, greys, browns, greens, yellows, mauves. Sewing kit, fabric scissors.  Sewing machine. Free motion quilting foot ideally. Cutting mat and a rotary cutter if you have one.
